Are you passionate about learning, supporting others, and making a difference in the community? Join our hospice team as an Apprentice in Library & Learning Resource Support and build a rewarding career while gaining valuable experience and qualifications in a supportive, hands-on environment.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity over the next 21 months to develop skills and qualifications whilst supporting the learning and development of our team and external partners. You’ll help manage our physical and virtual library, curate innovative learning materials, and ensure our learners have the best resources at their fingertips.

 

What you will do

  • Curate and maintain our collection of resources, both physical and digital.
  • Collaborate with our Learning & Development team to create engaging study content.
  • Support internal and external learners, ensuring they have the tools to succeed.
  • Assist in organising training sessions, supporting learner needs, and conducting satisfaction surveys.
  • Present and train learners on how to access and use our learning resources.
  • Help with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations in our learning environment.

 

What you’ll need

We do ask that you have the following

 

  • GCSE grades 4/C or above or Level 2 Functional Skills in both English & Maths
  • Resident/Right to abode in the UK for at least the previous 3 years

 

In addition, it would be helpful if you are an individual that can demonstrate good communication skills and keen to build working relationships. A great plus is that you are proactive with a problem-solving mindset.
