As a Community Fundraiser, you’ll play a crucial part in delivering our fundraising framework by engaging local businesses, community groups, and organisations. Your goal? To grow our supporter base and drive voluntary income through innovative and creative events, campaigns, and appeals, helping us reach ambitious financial targets while promoting Keech’s vital work across the community.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Secure opportunities for community engagement by leading innovative fundraising initiatives and appeals-driven campaigns
  • Building strong relationships with a diverse range of groups and individuals within the local community.
  • Develop and nurture partnerships with local hospitality and independent businesses, civic/government organisations, sports clubs, member associations and hobby groups to increase voluntary income.
  • Lead on community fundraising efforts and additionally supporting community-focused efforts like events, sponsorships, and group donations.
  • Be a Keech ambassador, attending and speaking at public events to raise awareness of our services, ensuring our message resonates with local communities.
  • Promote and drive participation in Keech’s fundraising events, securing support and maximising sponsorship income.

 

What you’ll need

  • A flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • A visionary mindset, confident in building strong community relationships
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, delivering on high operational standards and meet targets
  • Previous experience or interest in fundraising highly desirable
  • Proven event planning or fundraising experience and an ability to think creatively about new fundraising opportunities.
  • Comfortable with a sales oriented approach, thinking outside the box to drive long term support
  • Creative across all communication platforms to ensure our message reaches the right audience.
  • Have gravitas to inspire volunteers, supporting and empowering them to help us reach our goals.
