Keech Hospice is seeking an Online Retail Assistant - Ebay, to join our small and dedicated team in Luton. This role is key to increasing  income and profitability from our online shops specifically through eBay whilst also delivering exceptional customer service.

Starting salary £25,542 per annum, with room to develop and progress through the pay grade banding to £25,759 on a competency based framework. 

What you will do

  • Collaborate effectively with staff to achieve team goals and targets.
  • Create effective, accurate, and attractive product listings to increase competitiveness.
  • Manage customer complaints with professionalism and empathy, striving for positive resolutions within a timely manner and respond to messages promptly and process refunds according to guidelines.
  • Contribute towards the growth of Keech online shop by maximising opportunities
  • Oversee stock control, optimise listings, and manage product rotation to improve the online shopping experience.

Essential

  • Experience of online selling platforms (specifically eBay or similar)
  • Confident in producing adverts and writing product listings
  • Good attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new systems

Desirable

  • Understanding of customer service best practices
  • Familiarity with complaint handling and problem solving
  • Ability to delegate workload and manage own simultaneously
